" I do not write reviews...However I must write this to advise you all-in my research for a new TV [to replace the overblown supposed excellent quality of VIZIO -my 4 yr old Viz-wiz 42" died suddenly 6 months after my service contract expired], I could not fine ONE review of the Sceptre 47" TV!
AND, QVC keeps on running out of stock of this item!
My Sceptre 47" TV is...excellent; yes, there is somewhat mediocre sound- that is true with the majority of THIN profile TV units.
First: you'll need to play a bit with both sound and picture adjustments...and, Sceptre makes this very easy; after I did this, overall picture is Darn good! Sound is acceptable...[I will be procuring a Sceptre sound bar very soon to give me a more theater-like boom/crash/WOW sound effects]. QVC service, as usual, was superb! [THANK YOU QVC]
