this is my third sceptre tv in five years first bought a refurb 5 years ago and its still working as good as day one, this tvs picture is excellent as per usual with sceptre the speakers are quiet but this was purchased for my kids so its ok.

DVD Combo Unit

We needed a DVD player so I bought this tv and dvd combo. It works great, has excellent picture quality. The DVD player works great, it is lightweight and easily mounted to our existing tv wall mount. Highly recommend for small room.

Great tvs

‘WE have purchased 3 Sceptre tvs, a 32 inch, a 24 inch and now a 20 inch. The picture quality on all three is exceptional. Compared to two Vizio tvs that we also have are equal if not better. The price paid for the Sceptres is also exceptional and much lower that we paid for the Vizios.

Very durable

I bought this for my 2 yr old.for a.Christmas present without buying the wall.mount. This tv is holds.up over my 40.inch that was very much more.expensive...Not proud to admit but my son has thrown this.tv on the floor and stood on.the back. If course it is.in.Mommy‘s room now but my 40 inch fell 1 time.and cracked on.the.inside so.was.trash. I totally recommend this for any small child‘s room.or if.a.young hyper child.will.use it unless.u hang it on.wall. I‘ve.learned my lesson

Great TV for the price

Very pleased with this TV. It's used for the little kids in the playroom to watch DVD's. So nice to have it all in one unit. Set up was so easy it could have been done by the 4 year old. It weighs less than the ipad so is very portable. Could not be happier. Plus I bought it online and received it at home in two days right at Christmastime.

I was skeptical of the brand name Sceptre since I had no previous experience with them, but I took a chance and purchased a small tv/dvd combo. I can honestly say that I am quite pleased with this product. good pic and sound quality, easy to assemble and the dvd does well . I‘m good and would recommend the purchase of this brand

Excellent product for the most part, 95% satisfied. Only question is sound menu which seems to opt out of change; but sound "as is" is adequate for this price technology. Excellent mount, sturdy, will last. Nice features like DVD player included, good color. Would buy again. Don't let my comment on sound deter you from buying.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
