This E165BD-HD 16" (15.6" diagonal) LED HDTV comes with a built in DVD Player for the ultimate entertainment. It features a superior LED display quality with a 720P resolution that helps emits brighter and more robust colors, all while saving energy. Featuring a versatile slim and lightweight design is great for entertainment anywhere in the home or on-the-go. E165BD-HD can easily be transferred from the kitchen to the bathroom, the office and back again. This energy saving widescreen LED television even provides dual HDMI ports and USB port for photo / audio enjoyment, uncommon characteristics for such a compact television. Also, with the additional bonus of a car adaptor cord lets you use this HDTV while you're on the road. This HDTV uses 100mmx100mm VESA standard wall mounts with screw sizes M4 x 7mm.

The $200 television has two HDMI inputs, so if you come across a Blu-ray player and videogame console that also plug into a cigarette lighter, you’re set. Of course you could get a DC-to-AC converter for those peripherals, but that would be like cheating on your new cigarette-lighter lifestyle.

What's great about it: great for using in my small camper and spare bedroom

Exactly what I wanted

What's great about it: Size, price, qauality

What's not so great: Nothing

I wanted a small TV for my bedroom that needed to fit on top of a bookcase near the bed. This is exactly what I needed. The price was excellent and it has a built in DVD player, although I haven't used it yet. I had a scheduled surgery and was hoping the TV would arrive before going into the hospital. It did and I enjoyed it while recuperating.

Great Little TV

Pros:
Great price - TV and DVD player together
Easy set up and use
Light weight - makes moving from room to room effortless
HD picture quality - very good

Con:
The sound quality is absolutely fine.
However, I think the sound would be much better if the speaker was located in front instead of on top of the TV.
For this I would only take away half a star.

Just the right size we wanted for a bedroom. It was easy to hook up which I like very much. Could not find anything like it in the store so ordered on line and picked up at store.

Q:The video card driver is not up to date, how can I fix this? ?
A:

  1. Find out what card you have by going into the Display Settings of your Operating System.  You will be able to see your video card name.
  2. Most video cards are from two companies, nVidia and AMD (formally ATI). You will need to download the latest driver to update your card. Here are the links:

    • nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

    • AMD (formally ATI):  http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

    • Note: If your video card is not from nVidia, please search for the card on Google (www.google.com) or  visit www.sceptre.com for additional technical support and Live Chat with Customer Tech Support.

  3. Download the newest driver and remove the old driver from the system.  You will also need to remove the plug and play detected monitor driver.
  4. Reboot your computer and install the newest video card driver.
  5. You will need to reboot an additional time (reboot twice) for the system to detect the monitor, then you can adjust the monitor resolution.
