Perfect TV ever!

We got it on Black Friday season 2018 with $499 deal and we love it! Worth the money. Quality screen and good speaker sound. We were planning to get a sound bar but the quality of the built in speaker is good enough for us so everything is good. We are so in love with our TV

Worth More than I Paid!

At first I was a bit skeptical about a couple of bad reviews on this unit but after rethinking how many Sceptre computer monitors I have bought for my clients and they have more than done their job, I decided to fly with the purchase because the price was too good to be true. I just replaced a Samsung (still works) with this one and I am excitedly happy with it's color, clarity and exceptional HDTV. We will just have to see as time goes on but I already see a significant difference in the movies I watch and especially on Netflix and Hulu streaming. You don't need an internet ready TV and it's silly to spend that extra money on one.

Why pay more for a smart TV?

Great purchase. I use a Roku and cable box, the picture quality is outstanding. The very minor criticism I would have is the location of the power sensor being directly middle and bottom of the screen. My sound bar sits in the same place, blocking the sensor. I had to make a 1 inch platform in order to raise the TV enough to turn it on. I'm going to test the MHL connection with my tablet next to see how well that works.

Excellent Video, Sound OK

This is my third Sceptre. Like the other two, the video display is excellent, and the audio quality is merely adequate for human speech. The electronics are very sophisticated, so I set the audio to surround sound and sent the audio signal to an existing 5-1 audio system. I sent the audio signal to an external speaker system with my other two Scepters as well. Overall, the TV is a great value for the price. If it had better speakers, I would give it five stars.

Unreal for the money! Why spend more?

I think this TV outperforms my Vizio M Series... either that or I don’t know how to set up the picture on the 55” Vizio. Kinda funny but I bought a long wall unit entertainment center and my new Vizio 55” was too small to fit the opening. So after reading reviews of this tv I ordered this 65”. It fits perfectly, and I can’t imagine, at this point, spending more... I don’t think I’d be able to tell a difference in the picture between this one and a more expensive one. It seems to do reproduce the dark images and the dark parts of a broadcast better. Very pleased.
