Amazing Quality For The Price

I bought this TV through Amazon on a Monday. It was supposed to arrive the next Thursday, but I was very surprised that it came a day early - Wednesday morning. It was well packaged and very easy to take out of the box. Attaching the legs was simple - they even supplied a little screwdriver to do the job! Within 5 minutes of setting it on the viewing table, the TV was fully operational. The picture and colors are crisp and vibrant. Some people might say that the sound isn‘t optimal, but to them I can offer a bit of advice based on my own experience: I have never owned a TV for which the sound was all that great. For that reason, I invested in a sound bar long ago. I connected to this new Sceptre TV with no problem, and the sound is magnificent. For the price, this TV is fantastic. I‘m so glad that I took a chance on a brand that I had not heard of before.

I bought this TV cause my Samsung went out on is. It was reasonable and 4k. To my surprise this things is amazing. Incredible picture and plenty of ports and even had the optical output for audio. To say I was stunned with the quality would be an understatement!

Cheap 4k gaming???? Maybe!

When it arrived, I found the stand/legs to be a full 58" wide once installed. At first I found the colors to be very flat. A ton of light blead. I found this was only do to the fact that all of the color settings had been disabled. About 5 minutes of very easy navigation and I found myself looking at an IPS panel with amazing colors. To be clear, this is NOT a "Smart" TV (This is GREAT news for those of us that do not wish to have adds pushed through by the manufacturer... And yes, that‘s a thing). However, there are quite a few very impressive settings to be found. Unlike what the manual states, this Unit comes with 3 HDMI 2.0 ports and only one HDMI 1.4 port. The 2.0 ports run at 60Hz without issue. I ran several Bench Tests to see quality. Using my media PC (Intel I7 2600k Quad Core 8 Thread and an AMD RX 480 Graphics card along with 16GB of DDR3) I performed the following benchmarks. 3D Mark Time Spy: 3,730 Graphics 1: 27.39 FPS Graphics 2: 21.71 FPS Unigen 4k Optimized: Avg 24.6 FPS And finally Cinebench R15: OpenGL: 70.46 FPS I found the bench tests (Specifically Unigen) to run very smooth with no tearing or studering. For gaming, at $399.00, It‘s very impressive. However, please keep in mind, for the best quality of 4k panel, stay with 50" to 55". That‘s the optimum size for 4k pixel density. At 65" you‘ll start to see the image pixelate. And this is with EVERY panel at 4k resolution. Once you pass 55", plan on the future 5k TVs to give you the sharpest quality at that point.

Outstanding

I bought this tv a couple weeks ago and have been really impressed . First the packing , so simple to remove the double cartons and mount the legs . I lifted it up onto a table I made which is 1 ft high 5 ft long and 16 inches wide . I connected hdmi cables to my surround sound , my dvd vcr player recorder and the internet .. Pretty good for an 84 year old man .I enjoy it every evening .

Bought it, Mounted it, Love it

Loved the 55" 4k Sceptre that I bought a couple of years ago. Moving into a bigger apartment with more rooms, I started looking for a larger tv. This popped up on Slickdeals and I knew I had to get it. It is beautiful, best value for dollar available IMO. Haven't had a single problem with the 55", don't anticipate a problem with this one either.

I bought this after reading specifications and reviews on several different TV‘s. I have to say I‘m impressed. This plays all my 4k content beautifully and the quality with my Xbox one is amazing. All I needed was a set for streaming and gaming and this suits perfectly.. the price is hard to beat!

Nice Picture! Great Audio!

The picture is very vibrant and crisp. We stream everything so there are no cables hooked up (other than Chromecast). Everything comes through great. The audio is much better than expected. Previous TV was a 50" Affinity. We sometimes had to have the volume at a full 100% and still had trouble hearing things. This Sceptre has not been raised above 8. We bought this TV on sale. The reviews were all pretty good although a couple slightly negative about the sound. Thus far no problems and overall better than we hoped. Would buy this TV at regular price and still be happy with it.

Awesome TV for the price point

This is a nice TV with a beautiful display. It does have some nice features, but is understandably lacking in a couple of what I feel are important features. One being a headphone jack. I understand not everyone uses these, but the main benefit of a headphone jack is control of the volume to a soundbar. Regardless it is a very good TV.
